The majority of our jewelry are in silver with 18ct gold on it. However, we also have some gold plated brass parts.
Here is what we recommend for their maintenance:
- Silver jewelry that is not worn oxidizes against air, light and moisture. We therefore advise you to store them in a box or pouch to avoid oxidation. If this occurs, it is a good idea to clean your jewelry with a silver jewelry chamoisine or buy a Hagerty jar.
- For silver or brass jewelry plated with fine gold, if you want to keep the gilding as long as possible, it is preferable to avoid contact with cosmetics, salt water and chemicals.
